Professional Exchange Experience

In 2017 ,I applied to The Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC) .I chose this program because I wanted to improve my knowledge in innovation and enrich my experience in technology
It was the training that enhanced my skills in communication and equipped me by the resources needed to build a successful career. It also helped me to gain self-confidence and leadership capacities in project management.

I spent 8 weeks in Accent Neutralization, IT and Networking Skills Training at NIIT Technologies Limited where I learned about Business Etiquette, Business Correspondence, Networking Essentials, Windows Server 2008 Administration, Basic Routing & Switching & WAN Concepts and Security Fundamentals. ITEC allowed me to reach my professional goals.

Cultural Exchange Experience

India is popular for its rich cultural heritage, world famous monuments and its cuisine.
During my stay, I had the opportunity to visit three cities in three different states. These include Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
During my stay in Delhi, I discovered several historical monuments like the Red Fort, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, I had a chance to be a guest in an Indian wedding where I was so excited because I used to see such as ceremonies on movies only.
In Agra, I explored the beauty of the world famous Taj Mahal and read about its story.
During Jaipur trip ,we visited many historical places :The visual treat of Amer Fort, Jaipur Palace, Hawa Mahal and Chaukidhani etc.
It was also a great opportunity for me to connect with candidates from others countries, make new friends and share our culture and traditions.
My only challenge during the program was the Indian food .

1. Applicants can browse the available courses and are required to apply for ITEC training program by filling up the online application form (https://www.itecgoi.in) and take a print out of the filled form.

1. Submit the form to the Nodal/Designated Government Department/Agency of applicant’s country, along with the requested documents:
   Two (02) copies of the Diploma translated to English
   Two (02) copies of the work certificate
   Two (02) copies of a valid passport
   Two (02) passport size photos

2. Forward the folder through your respective organization to The Ministry of External Affairs, and then it will be forwarded to the Indian Embassy in Algeria.

3. The Indian Embassy or High Commission will then forward the form to the Technical Co-operation Division of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and copy to the NIIT Office in New Delhi.

4. On approval by the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy will arrange for the candidate’s travel.

Candidates can take a printout of application and check later the status of their application by logging.in at www.itecgoi.in. The credentials for login may be noted while filling up the form for future reference.
